Manana Tevzadze is the chair of the Georgian National Committee of the Blue Shield, leading internationally funded projects advocating for cultural heritage disaster risk preparedness and management in Georgia. She is a graduate of the international Master’s course in World Heritage Studies at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus Senftenberg, Germany. She has fifteen years of experience working in cultural heritage sector in Georgia. She also serves as a freelance consultant in EU funded projects in Georgia and the EU Eastern Partnership region. Manana is an alumna of the ICCROM international course First Aid to Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis and conducts training nationally and internationally in first aid to heritage in times of crisis.
