Amira Sadik Aly is the Executive Director of the Egyptian Heritage Rescue Foundation (ERHF). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Archaeology and a High Diploma of the History of Art from the Faculty of Archaeology at Cairo University, and a High Diploma in Translation from the University of Lyon. In 2014, she joined the EHRF where she developed programme requirements for First Aid for Cultural Heritage in the event of conflict or disaster, provided by the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) and UNESCO. She has also worked with ICCROM and UNESCO as a trainer in national, regional and international training courses on First Aid, Risk preparedness and Disaster Risk Management for cultural heritage.
