Vanessa Lamb is an associate professor in the Department of Social Science at York University and a Senior Research Fellow (Honorary) in the School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at The University of Melbourne. As a geographer, she studies social, political, and environmental change with a longstanding focus on rivers and water governance in the fields of political ecology and political geography. Dr. Lamb completed her dissertation, Ecologies of Rule and Resistance, in 2014, and in 2019 co-edited with Carl Middleton, Knowing the Salween River: Resource Politics of a Contested Transboundary River (Springer, 2019).
