Cassandra Hartblay is Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Society at the University of Toronto, Scarborough, and in the Department of Anthropology and the Centre for European and Eurasian Studies at the University of Toronto. Their book, I Was Never Alone or Oporniki: An Ethnographic Play on Disability in Russia, was published by the University of Toronto Press in 2020. A second monograph will be published with Cornell University Press in 2025.
