Mariken Teeuwen is senior researcher at Huygens Institute for the History of the Netherlands, Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences in Amsterdam. She specializes in manuscript studies and practices of learning in the Middle Ages, especially practices of annotating texts. She is also involved in several digital humanities projects, such as the appliance of AI to Latin paleography and the building of a virtual library for manuscripts in Dutch collections.
