Thoma Sukhashvili
(author)Thoma Sukhashvili was born in 1991 in a small town of South Ossetia, a breakaway territory of Georgia, and resided there until the 2008 war. Presently, he is an artist and researcher based in Tbilisi. Thoma earned a Master’s in Applied Psychology from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), focusing his research on nationalism, ethnic conflicts, and generational traumas. For the past eight years, he served as a photojournalist, but he has transitioned to working in the field of human rights in Central Asia.
