(author)Ulrich Gregor is a film historian. Together with his wife Erika he founded Friends of the German Cinematheque in 1963, which would later become Arsenal – Institute for Film and Video Art. He taught at FU Berlin and the German Film and Television Academy Berlin and headed the International Forum for New Cinema at the Berlinale for many years.
