Rebecca Ohene-Asah
(author)Rebecca Ohene-Asah studied for a master’s degree in Documentary Film Studies and Production at Hofstra University in Hempstead-New York, under a Fulbright fellowship. She holds a PhD degree in Museum and Heritage Studies from the University of Ghana-Legon. She is the co-founder and director of Benpaali Young Filmmakers Festival, which has mentored young people in filmmaking since 2015. She teaches courses in African film theory and documentary filmmaking at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI).
