Jonas Hallström, PhD, Associate Professor, is a historian of technology and education, and is currently working at the Department of Behavioural Sciences and Learning, Linköping University, Sweden. His research includes studies at the intersection between the history of technology, environmental history and urban history, such as his dissertation, Constructing a Pipe-Bound City, Linköping, 2002. Hallström also does research within the history of education and technology education, including ‘Technical Knowledge in a Technical Society: Elementary School Technology Education in Sweden, 1919–1928’, History of Education 38:4, 2009, 455–474.
