Brandon W. Hawk is an assistant professor of English at Rhode Island College. He has published on early English literature, the history of the English language, biblical apocrypha, and medieval biblical commentaries, and serves as a member of the Editorial Board for the Sources of Anglo-Saxon Literary Culture project. His book Preaching Apocrypha in Anglo-Saxon England was published by the University of Toronto Press in 2018, and his full-length introduction, translation, and commentary for the apocryphal Gospel of Pseudo-Matthew was published by Cascade Books.
