Hamad Al-Rayes holds a PhD in Philosophy from Stony Brook University and currently teaches philosophy to schoolchildren through Loyola University New Orleans’ Philosopher Kids program, where he is also developing a series of philosophy picture-books for children. His current research focuses on the relationship between aesthetics and metaphysics, particularly as it informs the development of modern Arabic poetry.
