Susanne Österlund-Pötzsch holds the Title of Docent (Associate Professor) in Nordic Folklore Studies at Åbo Akademi University. She lives in Helsinki where she works as an archivist specialising in folklore and tradition material. Her research and previous publications focus on food culture, island branding, practices of everyday life, performance and various aspects of mobility, such as migration and everyday walking.
