Kemel Toktomushev is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Central Asia’s Institute of Public Policy and Administration. His primary research interests focus on economics of development and good governance in emerging economies. Toktomushev is the author of Kyrgyzstan: Regime Security and Foreign Policy (Routledge, 2017). Toktomushev holds a Ph.D. in Politics from the University of Exeter and a Master of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics. He is also a Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education alumnus.
