Jose Muzlera is director of the Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences at the National University of Quilmes (UNQ), Researcher of the Center for the Study of Rural Argentina at the National University of Quilmes (CEARUNQ) and Researcher of the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET). Together with Alejandra Salomón, he is the editor of the Diccionario del Agro Iberoamericano. His research, always taking the Argentinean Pampean region as a territorial frame, has been linked to the dynamics of inheritance and social reproduction of farmers and contractors, to the effects of late modernity in the socio-productive framework and, in recent years, to the effects of the agribusiness model on the quality of life of those who inhabit the agro-territories.
