Larissa de Lima Trindade has a degree in Accounting from the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil (2006), a master's degree in Administration from the Federal University of Santa Maria-BR (2009) and a joint Doctorate (2016) in Human Sciences from the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program in Human Sciences at the Federal University of Santa Catarina and Kent State University, Ohio, USA (2015/2016). She was a Capes/ Fulbright Scholarship. She is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Fronteira Sul, in Chapecó, Santa Catarina State - Brazil. She has experience in Administration, Accounting and Public Policy, working mainly on the themes: sustainability, environmental responsibility in public and private organisations, environmental public policies, environmental governance and finance.
John Hoornbeek serves as Director of the Center for Public Policy and Health and Professor of Health Policy and Management at Kent State University (KSU) in the United States. His areas of research include environmental and water policy, alternative approaches to health services administration, intergovernmental relations, and public management. Dr. Hoornbeek has published approximately twenty articles in peer reviewed scholarly journals, multiple chapters in edited books, a single-authored book on American water pollution policy published by the State University of New York Press, and an array of professional reports sponsored by government and nonprofit organisations. He has also held professional positions at the federal, state, and local levels of government in the US. Dr Hoornbeek earned his Bachelor's degree at Beloit College, his Master's degree at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and his Doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh.
Joshua Filla is a research staff member with Kent State University's Center for Public Policy and Health. He and his colleagues have produced literature and professional publications related to water pollution policy, including policy issues related to the nutrient enrichment of water bodies in the United States. His work also focuses on other aspects of public health policy and management, including care coordination and risk reduction, local health department management, and intergovernmental collaboration. He received his Master's in Public Administration and Public Policy from Kent State University in 2011.
Rodrigo Fortunato de Oliveira is an Environmental and Sanitary Engineering undergraduate student at Federal University Fronteira Sul. He was a scientific initiation scholarship holder in projects focused on the environmental area. His work focuses on forest hydrology and integrated water resources management, but he has also worked with statistics teaching and management of solid waste cooperatives.
