David Ssekamatte

David Ssekamatte is a lecturer in Monitoring and Evaluation at Uganda Management Institute with more than eighteen years of experience in programme management, monitoring and evaluation, participatory research, and strategy management. He has published extensively and consulted on various development projects. His research focuses on sustainability and climate change education, environmental citizenship, and higher education management. A former NAFSA senior fellow, Ssekamatte is currently a postdoctoral fellow with the FAR-LeaF Future Africa Programme, studying climate change education in Ugandan universities. He holds a PhD from Carl von Ossietzky University and an MA in Economics from the University of Lucknow.

Karsten Speck

Karsten Speck is a professor of Research Methods in the Department of Education at the Carl of Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in Germany. His current research focuses include multi-professional cooperation, school absenteeism, cooperation between youth welfare and schools, school social work, participation and volunteer work, university research and inquiry-based learning and teaching.

Bernd Siebenhüner

Bernd Siebenhüner is a professor of Ecological Economics at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Germany. His academic interest centres on social learning and sustainability, socio-ecological transformations, climate adaptation and governance, sustainable rural and urban development in Africa, governance of marine biodiversity, sustainable coastal zone management and international environmental policy.
