Thoth Open Metadata is committed to making its websites and services accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to provide an inclusive experience for people using different devices, browsers, input methods, and assistive technologies.
We are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our services.
We aim to make Thoth's websites and web applications accessible and usable, including through keyboard navigation and assistive technologies such as screen readers.
However, some parts of our services may not yet be fully accessible. As Thoth's platforms continue to be developed, we review existing functionality and new features with accessibility in mind.
Known accessibility issues will be documented in this statement as they are identified and verified.
Thoth provides infrastructure for creating, managing, displaying, exporting, and disseminating metadata for books and chapters.
Our infrastructure enables publishers to record key information pertaining to Accessibility, including details of accessibility contact, publisher accessibility statement, publisher accessibility report URLs, publication accessibility standard/exception, and publication accessibility report URLs, and supports documentation of a publisher’s adherence to WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA/AAA and PDF/UA specifications.
Some information displayed through Thoth is supplied by publishers or obtained from external sources. Thoth may also provide links to publications, files, websites, and services operated by third parties.
We cannot guarantee the accessibility of content or services provided and controlled by third parties. Where accessibility information is supplied as part of a publication's metadata, we aim to preserve and disseminate that information accurately through the formats and services that support it.
If you encounter an accessibility problem when using a Thoth website or service, or if you think we are not meeting accessibility requirements, please contact us.
When reporting an accessibility issue, it is helpful if you can tell us:
You can contact Thoth Open Metadata at support@thoth.pub.
We will consider your request and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
If you need information provided through Thoth in a different or more accessible format, please contact us and we will consider how best to assist you.
Thoth Open Metadata is committed to improving the accessibility of its websites and web applications.
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA as our reference standard for web accessibility.
Compliance status: Pending.
Thoth is undergoing accessibility evaluation against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We do not currently claim full conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA unless and until the relevant Thoth services have been assessed against that standard.
The following section should record accessibility issues identified through testing, user feedback, or development work.
Known issues: Pending.
Where an accessibility problem is identified, we will assess its impact and seek to address it as part of the ongoing development and maintenance of Thoth's services.

We nevertheless welcome reports of accessibility barriers encountered as part of a workflow involving Thoth, as these may help us improve our own interfaces or integrations.
