(author)Pedro Mateos Cruz is Director of the Institute of Archeology of Mérida. He is currently engaged in research exploring the world of Roman public architecture and is leading projects such as “The Monumental Ensemble of Imperial Worship of Augusta Emerita,” “The Roman theater and amphitheater of Augusta Emerita,” and “The Roman Theater of Medellín.” He also directs research projects on the arch of the Boario forum in Rome and the archaeological excavations at the Contributa Iulia site.
